Pink Floyd to Reissue ‘A Saucerful of Secrets’ Mono Mix for Record Store Day
As part of Record Store Day that takes place this year on April 13, Pink Floyd will be reissuing the mono mix of their second album A Saucerful of Secrets.
A Saucerful of Secrets is one of the few albums in their catalog that originally came out in mono. James Guthrie, Joel Plante, and Bernie Grundman remastered the original 1968 mono mix for this limited-edition vinyl release. It will be released on 180-gram black vinyl with a black poly-lined inner sleeve, and a "faithful reproduction" of the original sleeve, including the ‘Columbia’ logo.
The mono mix of A Saucerful of Secrets will be available for purchase from the group's own Pink Floyd Records.
Pink Floyd also participated in Record Store Day 2018 with their release of a mono remaster of their debut album, The Piper At the Gates of Dawn.
