The National Announce 10th Anniversary Release of 'High Violet' & YouTube Release of Concert Film
The National have announced that they will release a triple LP set to celebrate the 10th anniversary of High Violet. Additionally, the band has released their 2010 live concert film on YouTube.
The deluxe vinyl, which includes eight tracks that were previously unreleased on vinyl, is due out on June 19. The set includes “Wake Up Your Saints,” an alternate version of “Terrible Love,” live renditions of “Bloodbuzz Ohio” and “Anyone’s Ghost,” and more.
Three different versions of High Violet 10th Anniversary Expanded Edition will be available and preorders are ongoing here.
In correlation with the vinyl release announcement, the band shared the D.A. Pennebaker and Chris Hegedus-directed concert film that documents their performance at the Brooklyn Academy of Music on May 10, 2010, the night before the release of High Violet. The one-hour film is available on YouTube.
