‘Weird Al’ Yankovic to Embark on 133-Date Encore Run of 'Ill-Advised Vanity Tour'
Beloved parody singer “Weird Al” Yankovic is returning to the road next year for an encore run of his Ridiculously Self-Indulgent, Ill-Advised Vanity Tour that he’s now calling The Unfortunate Return of the Ridiculously Self-Indulgent, Ill-Advised Vanity Tour.
Just like the previous run, the tour will focus on Yankovic's lesser-known album tracks and skip over nearly all of his famous songs. It begins April 26, 2022 and wraps on October 29, with a total of 133 shows. Each night will feature a different setlist.
I’ve been hearing a wild rumor that tomorrow I’ll be announcing a major North American tour… wonder if it’s true??

“I’ve loved doing every single incarnation of my live show, but honestly the Vanity tour is the most fun I’ve ever had on stage,” Yankovic said in a statement, “so I’ve been dying to get back out there and torture everybody with it once again!”
The Vanity Tour first took place in 2018. Unlike every Yankovic tour of the past, it was staged without costume changes, video screens, or popular parody songs like “Fat,” “Eat It,” and “Smells Like Nirvana” - with the exception of a “Yoda” grand finale.
Instead, Yankovic played underrated fan favorites like “Nature Trail to Hell,” “Jackson Park Express,” “Dog Seat Dog,” You Don’t Love Me Anymore,” and “Albuquerque.” Every night featured a different cover song in the encore as well.
Same as in 2018, comedian Emo Phillips - Yankovic’s longtime friend - will serve as the trek's opening act. Tickets for the tour go on sale December 10. You can find more information about shows and see all the dates on "Weird Al" Yankovic's website.
