Green Lounge Records began life as one of the first lounge music stations on Apple Radio, quietly perfecting the art of the perfect cocktail hour before most people knew their phone could make one. It has since evolved — not entirely by choice — into a fully AI-generated record label, because someone has to score the after-hours of the algorithm. The label now operates six AI artists spanning K-pop, girl-group pop, contemporary dance, EDM, vocalese, and samba-funk, alongside a rotating cast of collaborators, guest signings, and at least one devil. Two shows anchor the schedule: Genres, Unsupervised on Thursdays and Brunch and Beats on Saturdays (aiplay.live), plus the occasional detour into forensic-cat opera. But underneath the synthetic vocals and generated visuals, the original format never left — this is still, at heart, a lounge station. Vintage 60s cool jazz and cocktail lounge staples share the schedule with the label's AI output, on the theory that Blossom Dearie and a machine-learning model can both, in their own way, set a mood. Six AI Artists. One Label. Zero Apologies. Cocktails for the Algorhythm.
