David Foster Documentary to Premiere at Toronto Film Festival
The new documentary about Canadian musician David Foster, David Foster: Off the Record, is set to premiere at the 2019 Toronto Film Festival, which runs Sept. 5-15.
Directed by Barry Avrich, the documentary will feature rare archival footage and interviews with Foster's family, friends, and collaborators. Some interviews include Lionel Richie, Quincy Jones, Clive Davis, Kristin Chenoweth, Peter Cetera, Diane Warren, Carole Bayer Sager, Barbra Streisand, Michael Bublé, Celine Dion, Josh Groban, Foster’s wife Katharine McPhee, and his daughters, Erin and Sara Foster.
The documentary world premiere will be followed by a special tribute to Foster at the TIFF Tribute Gala on Sept. 9.
