Watch the New Music Video for The Replacements' 'Can't Hardly Wait'
Ahead of the release of their Pleased To Meet Me (Deluxe Edition), The Replacements have unveiled a new music video for “Can’t Hardly Wait” that uses original 1987 footage.
The black-and-white footage was originally intended for a video for “The Ledge,” which was banned by MTV because of “objectionable song content.” It was then recycled for “Alex Chilton,” but much of the footage remained unused. Now, the source material has received an HD resolution upgrade for the new “Can’t Hardly Wait” music video.
Pleased to Meet Me (Deluxe Edition) is due out Oct. 9 via Rhino Entertainment.
