54FM Global operates under the parent media network 54FM_Radios, an independent digital broadcasting company founded in December 2015 under its original name, WVMLO Music Radio. What began as an open-format online station evolved into a multi-genre, multi-platform broadcast network built on musical diversity, cultural preservation, and innovation. As the audience expanded, the vision evolved. Genres were strategically separated to better serve listeners, leading to dedicated programming in NYC Freestyle, Salsa Radio, Gospel Radio, and specialty themed segments.
