About
We live in the far north ~ land of the midnight sun and dancing aurora... and deep cold. A land of extremes and remote life; and music that ROCKS - from old blues where rock originated, through rock's early years in the 50s and 60s, into heavy metal's ascendence in the 70s and 80s, and through today's myriad sub-genres of rock, Northland Radio plays them all. With numerous nationally and internationally syndicated rock shows each night of the week, Northland is your ultimate destination for rock and heavy metal radio shows on the internet. Alaska Rocks. Literally. Northland Radio is constantly airing brand-new tracks and soon-to-be-released monsters alongside your favorite classic rock, glam/hair, progressive, psychedelic, metal and alternative hits. Spend your overnights from midnight to six a.m. with our blues and classic Motown library. You'll soon find it is second to none. From mainstream rock giants to the Alaskan indie scene, we deliver the full spectrum of rock and blues music from yesterday to today. We're just getting started. Stay tuned!
