About

If it ever appeared on the Adult Contemporary charts for 1 week or 20, whether it peaked at #1 or #50, you'll hear it again on The Yosemite Breeze! Yosemite Breeze Radio is a cool, entrepreneurial network launched in the time of COVID-19, originating in Mariposa County, California—the foothills of Yosemite. YBR utilizes Starlink, the world's first and largest satellite constellation founded by Elon Musk in 2019, using a low Earth orbit to deliver broadband Internet capable of supporting streaming, online gaming, video calls and more. Leveraging advanced satellites and user hardware coupled with both spacecraft and on-orbit operations, Starlink delivers high-speed, low-latency Internet to users all over the world. Because the technology is relatively early in its development, YBR listeners can expect occasional, but infrequent, loss of signal or network issues from just 0.5 second to just slightly more. We support the ingenuity of Starlink and its mission, and appreciate being entrepreneurial partners with it.
