Beyoncé, Billie Eilish, Reba McEntire, & More Added to Oscars 2022 Performance Lineup

The Academy has just announced more performers for this year's 2022 Oscars. Beyoncé, Billie Eilish and FINNEAS, Reba McEntire, and Sebastián Yatra have joined this year's lineup.

The Academy announced the additional performances last night (March 22). The famous artists join Travis Barker, Sheila E., D-Nice and the Samples, Robert Glasper, and Adam Blackstone - whose performances at the event were announced earlier.

Beyoncé will sing her original song from King Richard, "Be Alive." Billie Eilish and Finneas will offer their Bond song "No Time to Die," Reba McEntire will perform "Somehow You Do" from Four Good Days, and Sebastián Yatra will show off Lin-Manuel Miranda's Encanto hit "Dos Oruguitas." Each tune is nominated for Best Music (Original Song) at this year's Oscars.

The only track missing from the lineup is Van Morrison's "Down to Joy," which is also nominated for Best Original Song. The artist was invited to perform the Belfast track at the 2022 Oscars but can't make it. According to an Academy statement: “Van Morrison was invited to perform his nominated song but will not attend the Oscars due to his tour schedule, therefore 'Down to Joy’ from Belfast will not be performed on the broadcast.”

This will be Sebastián Yatra's first time performing at the Oscars; the rest of the artists are veterans. Eilish and FINNEAS performed The Beatles’ “Yesterday” for the "In Memoriam" segment two years ago, while McEntire sang the nominated “I’m Checkin’ Out” from Postcards From the Edge on the telecast in 1991.

As for Queen Bey, the artist has performed during the 2005, 2007, and 2009 telecasts. For her act this year, Variety reported the artist may sing “Be Alive” remotely from a tennis court in Compton, California. The location is where future tennis legends Venus and Serena practiced under the watchful eye of their father, Richard.

As for other songs that will be performed during the show, the Oscar telecast will feature the first live performance of "We Don't Talk About Bruno" from Encanto. The track is a fan-favorite, miraculously topping the Billboard Hot 100 chart back in February. It's the second Disney song to do so after Aladdin's "A Whole New World," which topped the chart in 1993.

The 94th Oscars, produced by Will Packer and Shayla Cowan, will be held on Sunday, March 27, at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood. The show will be televised live on ABC at 8pm ET/5pm PT
