Billie Eilish Pauses Atlanta Concert to Help Fan Get an Inhaler

Billie Eilish, who's currently on the road for her Happier Than Ever world tour, briefly stopped her Saturday night show (February 5) to help a fan in the crowd who needed an inhaler.

In video clips posted by fans on social media, Eilish looks out into the audience at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta with concern, asking a fan in the pit, “You need an inhaler?” She quickly follows up with her stage crew, “Do we have an inhaler? Can we just grab one?”

“It’s OK, we got one,” Eilish says, pointing to the crowd. “Give her some time. Don’t crowd.”

“I wait for people to be OK until I keep going,” she noted in a clip from the show obtained by TMZ.

In another video, as concert-goers cheer, Eilish asks “You need to come out or are you OK? Are you sure?” before mouthing “I love you” to the fan and blowing a kiss.

It wasn't the first time Eilish paused a show in order to make sure her fans were okay. In fact, Billie's concern for live show safety dates back several years. A TikTok created by @mads_pan shows a compilation of clips where Eilish paused her shows in order to help passed-out or crushed fans. The beginning of the TikTok even shows a video of Eilish helping out an attendee in an intimate crowd of only a few hundred people - recorded during the early days of her career.

Eilish's concern over fan wellbeing comes in light of the recent Astroworld 2021 tragedy, in which 10 attendees died and a plethora more were injured. Travis Scott's set was declared a mass casualty event, with many suspecting Scott was aware of what was going on. The tragedy has sparked an awareness for crowd control and safety - as a responsibility for both concert attendees and performers alike.

Speaking of Travis Scott and Billie Eilish, the latter artist recently replaced the former as a headliner for Coachella 2022. Eilish's Happier Than Ever tour just kicked off last week in New Orleans before heading to Atlanta. See all of her tour dates and get tickets here.
