Frank Ocean Celebrates 10th Anniversary of 'Channel Orange' with New Episodes of 'Blonded Radio'

When the very private Frank Ocean returns, everyone pays attention. This time, the artist is back in the spotlight with new episodes of his Apple Music 1 radio show Blonded Radio.

Episodes 012 and 013 aired on the 10th anniversary of his debut studio album Channel Orange. Episode 012 is titled “Blonded Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds” and Episode 013 is called “Blonded Energy!” Episode 012 features Ocean interviewing Dr. James Fadiman about microdosing, all soundtracked to a 35-minute instrumental score produced by Ocean. Episode 013 features a conversation between Ocean and Master Mingtong Gu about the ancient practice of Qigong.

The new Blonded Radio episodes are the latest since Ocean dropped one for Christmas last year (2021). Blonded Radio originally lasted from February to August 2017, with four additional special episodes that aired in November and December 2018 before another four episodes were dropped from October to December 2019.

The new Blonded Radio episodes aren't the only way Ocean is celebrating his Channel Orange anniversary. Over on his website, he has released a new Channel Orange–themed poster and some new Blonded Radio shirts.

Although Ocean's been slow to creating another LP, he has been keeping busy in other areas of his career. In 2021, Ocean launched a luxury jewelry and accessories line called Homer, also opening a a brick and mortar location in Manhattan. Ocean is also set to headline the 2023 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. Ocean was scheduled to headline in 2020, but the popular festival was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
