Halsey Fans Discover 'If I Can't Have Love, I Want Power' Song in Online Game
Halsey's fans have uncovered a song clip believed to be part of a new track by the singer in a new choose your own adventure-style game.
The track seems to be taken from If I Can't Have Love, I Want Power, Halsey's Reznor and Ross-produced studio album that will be released next month. The online LXXXXP game has players picking through pictures to "choose your path and discover your destiny." It includes medieval-esque images like "The Watchful Owl," "The Royal Feast," and "The Barley Seeds." Once the player selects six images, they are then given a "destiny."
The images could possibly be from Halsey's hour-long theatrical film for If I Can't Have Love, I Want Power, which also features heavy medieval Game of Thrones-esque imagery.
On Friday (July 23), the Twitter account @HalseyUpdates listed all of the possible "destiny" outcomes within the game. They discovered the “You drowned in a freezing lake” outcome is accompanied by a snippet of new music. You can hear the grungy song in the Twitter post below.

@HalseyUpdates also noted those who manage to evade death in the game are directed to a website selling a limited edition If I Can’t Have Love, I Want Power box set.
If I Can't Have Love, I Want Power will be released on August 27. Pre-orders are available here. As mentioned, the album will be accompanied by a movie written by Halsey. The film's recently released trailer revealed the story is about "the lifelong social labyrinth of sexuality and birth," stating, “The greatest horror stories never told were buried with the bodies of those who died in that labyrinth…”
