Iron Maiden Unveil Double Live Album Recorded in Mexico City
Iron Maiden are set to release Nights Of The Dead, Legacy Of The Beast: Live in Mexico City, a new live album that was recorded in September 2019 on their Legacy Of The Beast World Tour.
Due out Nov. 20, the album collects recordings of the band’s three sold-out shows in Mexico City. With over 100 minutes of live music, the album will be available digitally and in the following formats: 2CD Digipack, Deluxe 2CD Book, and Triple Black Vinyl. There are also a number of different bundles available for purchase.
The band decided to compile a live album after having to cancel all of their upcoming tour dates due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In a statement, Iron Maiden founder and bassist Steve Harris said, “We’d been really looking forward to bringing the show to even more countries and although we’ve been able to reschedule most of our European own-shows for 2021, we thought we’d take a listen to the recordings from the tour so far and see if we could create a definitive live album souvenir that everyone, everywhere could enjoy."
