Mick Jagger to Undergo Heart Valve Replacement Surgery

Just a few days after the Rolling Stones announced that they would be postponing the North American leg of their No Filter tour, it has been revealed that Mick Jagger will undergo heart valve replacement surgery this week.

Drudge Report first reported the news of the heart surgery and Rolling Stone confirmed the news yesterday.

The band's original postponement announcement did not include information on Mick Jagger's medical condition.

“Mick Jagger has been advised by doctors that he cannot go on tour at this time as he needs medical treatment,” the band’s publicist said in a press release. “The doctors have advised Mick that he is expected to make a complete recovery so that he can get back on stage as soon as possible."

Jagger is expected to make a full recovery thanks to his excellent physical condition and healthy living.
