Miranda Lambert Announces New Collaborative Album 'The Marfa Tapes'
Miranda Lambert has revealed that she has a collaborative album on the way with Texas singer-songwriters Jack Ingram and Jon Randall.
Entitled The Marfa Tapes, the project was named after the Texas town where they recorded it. Previously, the trio collaborated on Lambert tracks like 2016's “Tin Man” and 2019's “Tequila Does.”
To announce the album, Lambert wrote on social media, "Announcing The Marfa Tapes. A project by @jackingram, @jonrandallmusic and me. Recorded in Marfa, TX. They’re raw. You can hear the wind blowing, the cows mooing... We wanted you to feel like you were right there with us, sitting around the campfire, escaping the world, disappearing into the music."
The Marfa Tapes is due out May 7. The lead single “In His Arms” will be released on Friday, Mar. 5. The album is available for pre-order now.
