NAB Show 2021 Canceled

The 2021 NAB Show, which was scheduled to take place in October in Las Vegas, has been canceled.

The National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) made the announcement today, saying, "To our Show community, with the best interests of the industry in mind, we are saddened to announce that we have made the difficult decision to cancel this year's event."

The "difficult decision" comes amid concerns about the COVID-19 pandemic, specifically the Delta variant that has caused cases to surge across the U.S.

The NAB Show is an annual trade show for media, entertainment, and technology, “Where Content Comes to Life,” and is produced by the National Association of Broadcasters.

Previously, the 2021 NAB Show was to be held October 9-13 at the Las Vegas Convention Center, with proof of vaccination required. Now that the 2021 event has been canceled, NAB is looking toward the 2022 NAB Show, which is scheduled for April 23-27 in Las Vegas.

Similar to the cancellation and move to virtual with the 2020 edition, information about virtual access to select 2021 NAB Show content is to be released in the near future.
