The Beatles Announce Deluxe Reissue of 'Revolver'

The Beatles have announced a reissue of their critically-acclaimed 1966 LP Revolver. The newly-mixed edition of the album is set to include home demos, a 100-page hardbound book, and more.

The expanded edition of Revolver arrives October 28. The original 14-track record has been newly mixed by producer Giles Martin and engineer Sam Okell, with the album’s original mono mix sourced from its 1966 mono master tapes.

Physical and digital deluxe editions of Revolver also include 28 early takes from the recording sessions, three home demos, and a four-track EP with new stereo mixes and remastered original mono mixes. You can pre-order the latest editions of Revolver here.

This is not the first Beatles album reissue to happen recently. In 2017, Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band was reissued for its 50th anniversary. The White Album got the same treatment the following year, while Abbey Road was reissued in 2019. Last year, the Beatles reissued their 1970 LP Let It Be.

In other Beatles news, Peter Jackson’s The Beatles: Get Back documentary series won big at the 2022 Creative Arts Emmy Awards over the weekend, receiving the Emmy for Outstanding Documentary or Nonfiction Series as well as four additional awards.
