World Audio Day 2020 Recap
World Audio Day 2020 took place on Tuesday, April 21, 2020 and we wanted to take a moment to send our sincerest thanks to everyone for making the event a huge success!
Thousands of people came to celebrate audio and attend our 13 different panels on Technology, Podcasting, Programming and Operations, and Licensing. Throughout the day, we had some incredible sessions on the History of Internet Radio, SoundExchange Overview, Station Distribution, the Future of Podcasting, and more.
Currently, the recordings of the panels are available on the Live365 Official YouTube channel and our Facebook page.
“We’re ecstatic about the response we got from the Audio community for World Audio Day 2020," said Live365's VP of Operations Justin Ruoff. "We set out to try to plan a full teleconference in just 3 weeks time due to the circumstances going on right now in the world. To see dozens of organizations and industry leaders, as well as thousands of webcasters and fans, pull together for an amazing day of information sharing goes to show just how special this community is. We look forward to continuing with World Audio Day next year and making the event even better.”
Above all, a huge thanks goes out to all the businesses and industry leaders who volunteered their time to be on panels throughout the day. They are all extremely busy and we cannot express our appreciation enough. A special thanks goes out to all of our panelists:
