Bad Bunny to Release New Record 'Un Verano Sin Ti' on Friday
Bad Bunny has announced that his new album, Un Verano Sin Ti, will be released this Friday, May 6.
Bad Bunny posted an announcement video on Instagram to surprise fans with the news. The skit shows Bad Bunny on a beach with a couple before being woken up from his dream by a friend. The album's title appears at the very end of the video as Bad Bunny looks out at the sunset.
Un Verano Sin Ti – which translates to "A Summer Without You" – is the follow-up to 2020's El Último Tour del Mundo and will include 23 songs. The new album’s title was previously revealed through a classified ad for a 2019 Bugatti Chiron 110 Anniversary that was posted near the end of April. The ad was made under Bad Bunny’s legal name Benito A. Martinez Ocasio, with a Puerto Rican phone number attached. Those who contacted the number received a message that translates to: "Hello! Thank you for calling. There’s little time left until the album comes out. I can’t say the date yet. But I can tell you the name: Un Verano Sin Ti (A Summer Without You)."
In other Bad Bunny news, the reggaeton artist is set to embark on an ambitious stadium tour in August. Last month, he won the 2022 Grammy Award for Best Musica Urbana Album, and shared a new video for his Daddy Yankee collab “X Última Vez.”
