Jonas Brothers to Be Subject of Netflix's First-Ever 'Family Roast'
Netflix is throwing a "family roast" special, and the Jonas Brothers are set to participate in the comedic madness.
Jonas Brothers Family Roast is scheduled to premiere on Netflix on November 23 and will be hosted by SNL star Kenan Thompson. Dubbed a celebration of “the universal truth that no one can get under your skin quite like your own family,” Jonas Brothers Family Roast will feature sketches, songs, games, and special guests all meant to tease Joe, Nick, and Kevin about their lives and careers - including their years as a band, separate solo stints, acting, reality television, high-profile exes, marriages, babies, and more.
Besides the Jonas Brothers, other special guests for the one-hour show include Pete Davidson, Niall Horan, Gabriel “Fluffy” Iglesias, John Legend, Lilly Singh, and Jack Whitehall, with more to come.
Jonas Brothers Family Roast is produced by Fulwell 73 (The Late Late Show, One Direction: This Is Us, and 2021's Cinderella). Executive producers include Emma Conway and Gabe Turner for Fulwell 73, showrunner James Longman, and the Jonas Brothers themselves. Lauren Greenberg serves as head writer.
The Jonas Brothers returned in 2019 after six years on hiatus. Two years ago, their return single “Sucker” debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and went triple platinum. Their comeback album Happiness Begins then went on to hit No. 1 on the U.S. Billboard 200. In the 2019 Amazon Prime Video documentary Chasing Happiness and memoir Blood, fans got a behind-the-scenes look at the band and their dual relationship: as brothers and coworkers.
In other Jonas Brothers news, the New Jersey-born group has been travelling across the United States as part of their outdoor Remember This tour. Featuring Kelsea Ballerini as an opener, the tour will conclude tomorrow, October 27, in Los Angeles before the brothers hit the road again in December. Tickets for upcoming shows can be found here.
