About
Funky House Radio is a Chicago house station for people who want to know where the music came from. From the Warehouse days to brand-new releases, Hank, Lisa and Mike play house, disco and soul around the clock, along with the stories behind the records. The world of the station is fiction: Hank, Lisa and Mike are written characters with AI-generated voices. The records are real. The research, programming and scripts come from one person, a former professional club DJ who never stopped digging through crates. Every record was made by somebody. We tell you who. Chicago built it. The world inherited it. On air Sunday 1 November, 4pm Chicago time.
