WTCP is unique in Central Pennsylvania and throughout the nation. WTCP Radio is the only African American owned and operated news & entertainment talk radio station in Central Pennsylvania. TCP (The Cultured Professional) the parent company of WTCP Radio has evolved into a multi-media, multi-platform communications company that reaches deeply into disenfranchised populations through radio, events, digital, and social media. Born out of a situation of need, WTCP Radio aims to highlight the voices and stories of the marginalized in Central Pennsylvania. TCP's mission is to communicate and engage in dialogue that is central to empowering those that are alienated. The station’s 24-hour format features a range of music programs, including jazz, R&B, neo-soul, reggae, hip-hop, and gospel. WTCP also provides locally produced news. We are a group of dedicated individuals in the Central PA area. Our family is from Lancaster, Reading, Harrisburg, York, and Philadelphia.
