THE NEVERLANDS LIVE: A VIRTUAL EVENING AT CLIFTON’S Clifton's, the iconic eatery founded at the depths of the Great Depression, was born out of adversity. Its founder desired to nourish not just the body, but the minds, spirits and souls of a generation that found itself in need of a respite from the harsh realities of life. With mass unemployment, extraordinary economic uncertainty, and families falling through the woefully inadequate social safety net, Clifton's provided a beacon of light-- a fantasy playland grounded in the spirit of community responsibility, social activism and hope. ⁠ Each week we will expand our offering, with video segments, Quarantending tips for the in-home bar, dance lessons, special guests and Magic!
