About

IPL Radio, Inspiring Passionate Lives, was borne out of the COVID Pandemic of 2020. Founder Trys Reddick, a Mental Health trainer wanted to find a way of talking about Mental Health issues and inspiring people to live their best in a way that was lockdown proof. IPL – originally Inspire Radio – started broadcasting in April 2020 from presenters own homes, moving to our first studio in June. We are a Not for Profit organisation, registered as a charity with ACNC with DGR Status so any donations we recieve are tax deductable dollar for dollar. We are only able to inspire our listeners through our family of dedicated volunteers who are truly the backbone of our organisation. In our 18 months of broadcasting, we have had over 100 volunteers join us in our journey. Each one giving up their time to inspire our listeners, showcase local services and play some amazing music. We were host to the first ever simulcast of the Australian Military Wives choir, have done multiple outside broadcasts including Rockingham, Kwinana and Cockburn Shopping Centres, the Peel Manor House and Mandurah Performing Arts Centre. We have been developing our own video studio and have run live events for the New Years Eve 2020 and 2021 and currently working on a new Youth Magazine style show. From Monday 10th January at 9am (WA time) we will be broadcasting to America, UK and Canada as well as Australia and New Zealand and have a focus on playing new and exciting artists. If you would like to join us and be part of our journey send us an email to info@iplradio.org.au or if you are a musician and would like some airtime please send your tracks as MP3 files to music@iplradio.org.au
