Atlanta Blue Sky was originally a very small internet radio broadcast that I started on a whim in Atlanta in 2000. Through some very fortunate circumstances, the broadcast gained quite a bit of notoriety and by 2005 had grown to four different broadcasts covering Adult Alternative, Classic Rock, Jazz and Country streams that were broadcasting to thousands of listeners seven days a week, 24 hours a day. Problems developed not only with new costs being forced on internet broadcasters, but also within the three person partnership that had formed to manage the variety of streams, and the original format stopped broadcasting. The new broadcast has been renamed BlueSkyOne, as the original Atlanta Blue Sky is still owned and operated by one of the three former partners who hosted the Jazz stream. In its current format, I am adding new music that fits the original Adult Alternative music format, while still using much of the original broadcast's library of classic Alternative and Adult Alternative programming. The broadcast still uses the original voice for the broadcast IDs, Amanda Waring, lovingly known to us in those days as Milly Molly and is dedicated to her from all of us, in her memory.
