Hello! I'm Jake In The Evening, and I host a live radio show called "American Music: Music You can Touch", every Tuesday at 7 pm est. This show is dedicated to Rock 'N' Roll and its roots music: American music from the 20's through the early 70's. Featuring music that contains the essence of Rock 'N' Roll (It makes you wanna dance or at least tap your foot). I will only be playing physical media that I own, including vinyl LPs, CDs, tapes and 8 tracks. There is something very special about listening to music from a physical copy. We've lost the humanity of the experience by letting streaming service algorithms choose our playlists. I'll be creating a new one hour episode each week that will premiere every Friday @7 PM est. Then that episode will be added to the station's rotation. I want to share the music I love as authentically as possible. Tune-in and feel good!
