AnarchyFM was born out of something simple but powerful. The feeling that heavy music lost its home on modern radio. I grew up on emo, punk, metalcore, hardcore, and heavy rock. These weren’t just bands to me — they were lifelines. They were the voices that got me through dark nights, heartbreak, anger, confusion, and the moments when the world felt too loud or too quiet at the same time. But somewhere along the way, radio changed. Playlists got safer Stations got quieter. And the music that once made people feel seen started disappearing from the airwaves. So I built my own! AnarchyFM is a proudly Canadian, fiercely independent online radio station created for the people who never stopped loving real, emotional, loud, and honest music. We are built for the fans who still care about the underground, the riffs, the breakdowns, the lyrics that hurt, and the songs that heal. This isn’t a playlist. This isn’t an algorithm. This is a real radio station, curated by someone who lives this scene. We play everything from emo and pop-punk to metalcore, hardcore, alternative, ska, and heavy rock, mixing legendary artists with rising underground bands from Canada and around the world. Our goal is simple: bring back the feeling that radio used to give you when a song hit so hard it felt like it was written just for you. AnarchyFM also exists to support the artists. We spotlight new bands, host Underground Rising, feature Canadian talent, and work toward bringing you festival coverage, interviews, and live sessions from the heart of the scene. This station is built by a fan — not a corporation. By someone who believes music still matters. By someone who knows that heavy doesn’t mean empty, and loud doesn’t mean meaningless. If you’ve ever felt like this music saved you, even just a little YOU BELONG HERE Emo Tears. Punk Scars. Metal Fists.
