Why the rebrand? Small, independent radio stations have been pushed aside in search and discovery by large media groups prioritising scale over community. Recent consolidation in UK radio has made it harder for local and independent voices to be seen and heard. This rebrand is about standing up for independent radio — stations that serve listeners, not shareholders. Smaller stations connect better with their audience, support emerging music, and reflect real communities in a way large networks simply can’t.
